This review is research-based: every specification below comes from the live Amazon listing, checked on 5 October 2026, and from Razer’s published specifications where the listing leaves a figure out. The verdict weighs those specifications against the other picks in our best ergonomic mouse for large hands comparison. We did not use these mice ourselves; where a figure is not published, we say so.

Why It Suits Large Hands
The Basilisk is the shape for people whose thumb never knows where to go. A built-out thumb rest on the left flank gives the thumb a shelf, and at 130 mm long and 75.4 mm wide the shell is big enough to fill a large palm.
It is also the most feature-dense mouse here: 13 customizable controls including a multi-function trigger under the thumb, and a HyperScroll wheel that switches between tactile and free-spin modes (or switches automatically in Smart-Reel mode) and tilts.
Razer rates the battery at up to 140 hours on HyperSpeed, the longest of the gaming mice we compare, and Bluetooth is there for a laptop.
Sensor, Polling and Lighting
The Focus Pro 35K Gen-2 sensor adjusts in 1-DPI steps and Razer says it tracks on glass. A true 8,000 Hz polling rate needs the Razer Mouse Dock Pro or the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, both sold separately.
Thirteen Chroma lighting zones include full underglow; turn them down if battery life matters more than looks.
Limitations and Compromises
- At 112 g it is nearly twice the weight of the DeathAdder V3 Pro.
- The 8,000 Hz polling headline needs extra hardware.
- 695 ratings is fewer than the other picks; this 35K edition is newer.
Who Should Buy It?
- Large right hands that want a thumb rest
- Players and power users who want 13 controls
- Buyers who want long battery life and Bluetooth
