Nitecore TM20K — 20,000-Lumen USB-C Rechargeable Flashlight, 9,600 mAh Battery

The Nitecore TM20K is the most compact way to get 20,000 lumens from an established maker — a flood-heavy light for lighting a whole yard at once, not for reaching far.

Nitecore TM20K Review (2026)

The Nitecore TM20K is a palm-sized flood light: the listing claims 20,000 lumens and a 317-yard beam from a body under 6 inches long. It is one of the seven high-output lights compared in our brightest flashlight in the world guide.

This review is research-based: the specifications below come from the live Amazon listing, checked on 6 November 2026, and from the maker’s or retailers’ own pages where noted. We did not use this light ourselves.

Key Specifications

Best For / Skip If

Best for: lighting a whole backyard, campsite or driveway at once from a light that still fits a jacket pocket.

Skip if: you need to see far down a road or across a field — the IMALENT MS32 or Olight Marauder Mini 2 reach several times further.

Flood vs Throw

Lumens measure total light; beam distance depends on how tightly the light is focused. The TM20K spreads its 20,000 lumens wide, so the listed 317-yard reach is shorter than the 750 m spotlight of the Marauder Mini 2 at half the lumens. That makes it better for area lighting than for spotting distant objects.

Safety first: at these outputs the head and body get hot within minutes, and the beam can dazzle at long range. Never point it at people, animals, drivers or aircraft, keep it away from children, and lock it out before it goes into a bag. Follow the maker’s manual for charging the built-in lithium battery.

Limitations and Compromises

At 4.1 stars from 110 ratings it trails most of this list, and it is sold by a third-party seller rather than Nitecore itself, so check the seller’s return terms. The battery is built in.
