IMALENT MS32 Review (2026)
The IMALENT MS32 is the flashlight that headlines most “world’s brightest” lists, and its Amazon listing claims 200,000 lumens with a beam that reaches 1,618 meters. It is one of the seven high-output lights compared in our brightest flashlight in the world guide.

Best For / Skip If
Best for: search work on large properties, farms, boats and search-and-rescue volunteers who need to light a hillside or treeline, and buyers who want the outright brightest light on sale.
Skip if: you want something for a pocket, a glovebox or a nightstand — a 13,000-lumen pocket light like the IMALENT MS03 or a 10,000-lumen Olight Marauder Mini 2 is far easier to live with.
Heat, Runtime and Turbo
No handheld can hold 200,000 lumens for long: the maker’s own runtime figure is 45 minutes at 40,000 lumens, so treat the headline number as a short burst. The listing says the MS32 uses active heat management and an integrated handle so it can be held at high output; we would still set it down on a stable surface between bursts.
First use: the listing says the light ships locked and needs five presses of the power button to unlock.
Safety first: at these outputs the head and body get hot within minutes, and the beam can dazzle at long range. Never point it at people, animals, drivers or aircraft, keep it away from children, and lock it out before it goes into a bag. Follow the maker’s manual for charging the built-in lithium battery.
Limitations and Compromises
Size and weight are the big compromise — at 6.83 lb this is closer to a portable searchlight than a flashlight. The battery is built in, so when it wears out the light goes back to the maker for service. At $749.95 it is the most expensive light on the site.

Frequently Asked Questions
How bright is the IMALENT MS32?
IMALENT rates it at 200,000 lumens with a 1,618 m beam distance. Those are the maker’s figures; output drops after the first burst as the light manages heat.
How long does the MS32 run?
The listing quotes up to 45 minutes at 40,000 lumens and up to 345 hours on the 80-lumen low mode.
Is the IMALENT MS32 worth it?
Only if you need to light very large areas. For most homes, a 10,000–20,000 lumen light costs a fraction as much and still lights a whole yard.
