Lamicall Adjustable Laptop Stand — Aluminum Riser for 10-17.3 In Laptops, Foldable, Silver

Lamicall Adjustable Laptop Stand Review (2026)

The Lamicall Adjustable Laptop Stand scores 8.7/10 and is our best overall laptop riser for desk: an aluminum alloy stand that adjusts in height and angle, fits laptops from 10 to 17.3 inches, folds for the bag and sits on a larger, heavier base than most folding risers.

This review is research-based: every specification below comes from the live Amazon listing, and the verdict weighs those specifications against the other picks in our best laptop riser for desk comparison.

Key Specifications

Why It Leads the Group

The Lamicall stand is the riser we would hand to someone who does not yet know what they need. It adjusts in height and in angle, so it can sit low for a 13-inch MacBook Air on a short desk or higher for a 16-inch workstation laptop on a tall one. It folds for a bag, and it covers the widest size range in this comparison: Lamicall lists every laptop from 10 inches up to 17.3 inches, and names the MacBook Pro 16, Dell XPS, Surface Laptop and Alienware machines as compatible.

When we checked, it carried 4.7 out of 5 stars from 10,508 Amazon ratings. That is a large pool of owner feedback for a stand at this price, and for a research-based review it is the best evidence available that the hinges and pads hold up.

The Larger Base

Most folding risers wobble for the same reason: a narrow foot under a tall arm. Lamicall’s answer is what the listing calls an upgraded large base, made larger and heavier than its earlier version, so the stand resists shaking and sliding while you type. The laptop sits on anti-skid silicone with smooth edges, and the top plate has multiple ventilation holes so the underside vents are not pressed against a flat surface.

Height and Angle

Two adjustments matter on a laptop riser: how high the screen sits and how far it tilts back. The Lamicall changes both, which is why it suits the widest range of desks and people. Lamicall does not publish the exact height range or a weight capacity, so if you run a heavy 17-inch gaming laptop, the Nulaxy (22 lb listed) and the tounee telescopic stand (22 lb listed) are the safer bets on paper.

Limitations and Compromises

Lamicall publishes neither a weight capacity nor a height range, which makes it harder to plan a precise eye-level setup than with the Roost (6.5 to 12.5 in screen lift) or the tounee (2.1 to 21 in). Like every riser here, it lifts the built-in keyboard out of comfortable reach, so you will want an external keyboard and mouse.

Who Should Buy It?

• You want one stand that adjusts in both height and angle
• Your laptop is anywhere from 10 to 17.3 inches
• You sometimes take the stand with you
• You want a well-reviewed stand for under $30 at the time of writing

Look elsewhere if you want a fixed, one-piece stand that never needs setting (the Rain Design mStand), want to work standing up (the tounee telescopic stand) or need the lightest travel option (the Roost V3).

SoftPickr Verdict

The Lamicall Adjustable Laptop Stand scores 8.7/10 and is our best overall laptop riser for desk. Prices on Amazon move; the figure in this review was $28.99 at the time of writing and the live listing is the only accurate source.
