Best For / Skip If
Best for: people who want the most light possible from a pocket-size flashlight and accept that the peak lasts only briefly.
Skip if: you want a dependable everyday light — the Nitecore EDC37 (4.3 stars from 584 ratings) or the lights in our EDC guide are steadier choices.
Why Small and Bright Means Short Bursts
A small body has little metal to absorb heat, so ultra-bright pocket lights step down from their peak quickly to protect the LEDs and battery. Expect the 13,000-lumen figure as a short burst and plan around the lower modes for anything longer. The listing does not quote turbo runtime, so check IMALENT’s manual for the step-down timing.
Safety first: at these outputs the head and body get hot within minutes, and the beam can dazzle at long range. Never point it at people, animals, drivers or aircraft, keep it away from children, and lock it out before it goes into a bag. Follow the maker’s manual for charging the built-in lithium battery.
Limitations and Compromises
Its 3.9-star average from 336 ratings is a real warning sign; read the recent reviews before buying. The listing gives little runtime detail. It runs hot at high output.
