De’Longhi Dedica EC680M Review (2026)
The De’Longhi Dedica EC680M scores 8.4/10 and is the slim option in our best espresso machine under $500 comparison. Stock note: on 4 October 2026 this Amazon listing offered only a used unit (sold by Amazon Resale at $129.43), not a new one. That is why the Dedica is listed as an alternative rather than one of our five picks; the Gevi 20 Bar compact (5.5 inches wide) is the narrow machine to buy new.
This review is research-based: every specification below comes from the live Amazon listing, checked on 4 October 2026, and the verdict weighs those specifications against the other machines in our best espresso machine under $500 comparison. We did not use the Dedica ourselves. Where the brand does not publish a figure, we say so.

A Machine for Tiny Counters
De’Longhi calls the Dedica its slimmest espresso machine: about 6 inches wide, with an illuminated control panel. It uses a thermoblock with a 15-bar pump, adjustable controls and a manual frother, and it can brew into cups or mugs up to 5 inches tall.
Limitations and Compromises
The biggest limitation right now is stock: only a used unit was listed on 4 October 2026. The manual frother takes practice, there is no grinder, and the smaller 51 mm portafilter has fewer aftermarket baskets and tampers than 58 mm machines.
Who Should Buy It?
- Your counter space is very limited
- You are happy to buy used, or new stock returns
