Toodour Halloween Projector Lights — Double-Head Dynamic Projector With Timer, Devil Face

Toodour Halloween Projector Lights Review (2026)

The Toodour double-head projector scores 8.5/10 and is our best overall Halloween projector. Two independently aimed heads, four dynamic patterns, a built-in timer and a 1-year warranty for about $24, held back only by an adaptor that must be kept dry.

This review is research-based: every specification below comes from the live Amazon listing, and the verdict weighs those specifications against the other five picks in our best Halloween projector comparison.

Key Specifications

Two Heads, Double the Scare

Most budget Halloween projectors have one lens. The Toodour has two, on separate arms, and each head can be turned 360°. Toodour says the double-head design increases the projected area, and in practice it means one light can cover two surfaces at once: the garage door and the front wall, or a wall and the ceiling of a porch. For the price of a single-head light, that is the most coverage per dollar in our comparison.

Four Dynamic Patterns and a Timer

The Devil Face version we compared projects four different dynamic (moving) patterns rather than static slides. The feature that makes it our best overall pick, though, is the timer. Hold the button on the adapter for 3 seconds until the green light comes on, and it runs for 6 hours, switches off for 18, then comes back on at the same time the next evening. That’s the whole of October with no extra outdoor timer and no remembering to plug it in.

Installation and Warranty

A stake and screws come in the box, so you can push it into the lawn, stand it on the ground or fix it to a wall. Toodour recommends a distance of 10 ft to 20 ft for a clear, bright picture. That is further than the EAMBRITE’s 2–16 ft, so give it a strip of lawn rather than a flower bed next to the wall. It is the only light-type projector in our group with a listed 1-year warranty.

Limitations and Compromises

The projector is waterproof, but Toodour says plainly that the adapter is not. Plug it into a covered outdoor outlet or a weatherproof outlet box. The listing does not state a coverage area in square feet, and the 10–20 ft recommended distance is harder to achieve in a small front garden. The devil-face patterns lean scary; if you have small trick-or-treaters, the rotating ghosts of the EAMBRITE are gentler.

Setup and Maintenance

Place it 10–20 ft from the wall, aim each head at its own surface, plug in, then hold the adapter button for 3 seconds to start the 6-on/18-off timer at the time you want it to come on each evening. Shelter the adapter from rain.

Who Should Buy It?

• You want the most coverage per dollar
• You want a built-in timer so it runs itself all October
• You have two surfaces to light (garage and wall, wall and ceiling)
• You want a listed 1-year warranty

Look elsewhere if your only outlet is exposed to rain (the EAMBRITE has a waterproof adaptor) or if you want a window display of moving characters (the HoliScapes window projector kit).

SoftPickr Verdict

The Toodour scores 8.5/10 and is our best overall Halloween projector: two heads, a timer and a warranty for about $24. Prices on Amazon move; the figure in this review was $24.28 at the time of writing and the live listing is the only accurate source.
