COSCO Shifter Hand Truck Review — Does the No-Tools Conversion Hold Up?
Most people buy a hand truck once, badly, in the week before a house move. They pick the cheapest two-wheeler on the shelf, use it for one weekend and then trip over it in the garage for the next decade. The COSCO Shifter is aimed squarely at that buyer, and its pitch is that it folds flat enough to store in a closet and converts between three configurations without a single pin, bolt or tool. It is the right hand truck for domestic use and the wrong one for a trade, and the wheels are where that line gets drawn.
